Wouldn't it be great if we could simply create the app that's the perfect match for our needs? Children at our short course will learn how to make their own apps for both iPhones and Androids. Simple mobile games, quotes of the day, or applications, helping your shopping, workout or diet routine.

From user to developer!

The short course will teach students the use of the Thunkable app development platform. Thunkable can help your child create apps that take advantage of a smartphone's abilities: image or sound recognition, barcode or QR code scanning. They can make a mobile game, a calorie counting app, or anything else they can think of. The short course will also give your child a taste of basic visual programming. By the end of the short course, they'll be able to develop an app which could even be published on Google Play or the App Store!

Creating apps for Android and iPhone

The basic principles of user-friendly mobile app design

The development of apps that use the phone's own functions and sensors (e.g., calls, sms, gyroscope, camera)

The use of complex functions (e.g., voice and face recognition, image and text recognition, automated translation)

The use of the Thunkable app development software

Basic programming concepts through visual programming

  • For our in-Logiscool short course: We provide all the necessary tools for the short course.
  • In case, the school opens online short course: To participate in the online short course, each student will need a laptop or a computer at home with a solid internet connection, plus a built-in or external microphone. We also recommend a headset and a web camera. We will provide the software necessary for online communication. Our school coordinators will provide additional information on the installation of the necessary free software before the short course.
