Design, Build, and Solve!

Through Minecraft, participants will develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills, mastering redstone-powered mechanisms like custom doors, blinking lights, and intricate puzzle sequences. They will craft an immersive escape room experience, from storytelling and level design to complex redstone contraptions. By the end of the camp, each participant will have a fully functional Minecraft Maze to showcase!

Learn the basics of Minecraft building and redstone engineering

Design and build hidden rooms, logic-based puzzles, and labyrinths

Experiment with advanced redstone circuits, including different types of memory storage elements with flip-flops

Develop a fully playable escape room adventure with traps, secret doors, and special effects

Practice game design principles while planning an engaging escape challenge

For our offline camps: The camp requires a valid Minecraft Java Edition license for the participant. If you don’t have a Minecraft Java Edition license, you can purchase it here: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-java-bedrock-edition-pc.

In case, the school opens online camps: Besides the aforementioned Minecraft Java Edition license, to participate in the online camp, kids will need a laptop or a computer at home with a solid internet connection, plus a built-in or external microphone. We recommend having a headset and a web camera too.
