How best to protect our children? By teaching them to be independent and to take care of themselves. And that's doubly true today, especially in an #online environment. ☝
In cooperation with Magenta Experience Center, which is operated under the auspices of T-Mobile Czech Republic, we have prepared a family afternoon on the topic of cyber security. Because we know kids, we know that fun comes first! That's why we invite you to a unique interactive game #EscapeGigabit 🤖.
Kids who go through this program will not only have fun with their parents and peers, but also learn what words like phishing, spoofing, encryption, malware mean and how to defend against these threats. The #uniknigigabitovi game was specially developed for the November #TydenProDigitalniCesko event organized by Česko.Digital and has since been played by hundreds of primary school children at the Magenta Experience Center.
We hope you and your children will enjoy it too. Grandfathers and grandmothers are also welcome, for whom it can also be an interesting topic.
Event Schedule:
14:30 - 15:00 Welcome and diploma ceremony for Logiscool students (Python and Visual Programming exam).
15:00 - 16:30 Game # Escape the Gigabit in groups
16:30 - 17:00 Game evaluation and discussion on cyber security and threats to children
The game will take place indoors, in the Magenta Experience Center, OC Arkády Pankrác. It is intended for children aged 9 years and older and their parents. Capacity is limited!!!

Throughout the camp, they will create their own Minecraft movies, learn the basics of video editing, filmmaking techniques, and storytelling. Meet our Team!
We opened Logiscool Arbes Square in August 2020. We welcomed the first children at our camps in summer 2020. Our main goal is to get children excited about coding, to teach them how interesting the digital world can be and to learn how to use it to their advantage, actively and consciously. We believe that the knowledge and skills they gain with us will always be useful to them. It is extremely motivating for us to see how creative and active the children are and how much they enjoy the lessons.
We offer all types of courses at the branch:
- Visual Programming Beginners (3rd-5th grade, 5th-7th grade, 7th-9th grade)
- Advanced Programming (Python, Unity, Robotics Lego Spike)
- Digital Literacy - Digital Discovery (2nd-3rd grade, 4th-5th grade)
- Video production
We look forward to seeing the children at our daily camps during the holidays. The morning part is at the branch, in the afternoon we enjoy activities in the surroundings (bouldering, lasergame, bowling,...).
We cooperate with schools in the area to organize afternoon clubs, demo lessons for whole classes and other events.

I've always liked numbers, so I pursued finance and worked my way up through various positions in the business world before coming to Logiscool. Throughout my professional life I have seen a huge shift in the importance of IT within companies. Therefore, I believe that digital literacy is a core skill that our children need. Not every student of ours needs to be a programmer, but the skills they acquire will definitely not be lost in their lives. As a mother of three children, I know how difficult it is to juggle all the leisure activities and education of children, which is why my colleagues and I are always willing to accommodate parents when they need a make-up lesson, a change of course, or even just individual lessons to explain the topic in more details. I am pleased when parents and children are satisfied with our courses and camps.

When I was a little girl, my dad taught me and my brothers how to program simple games on the computer. I was fascinated by the ability to create something on the computer myself, and something that someone else could use. If there had been courses like Logiscool back then, I think I would have been an enthusiastic student. In later life, I shifted my interest to the social sciences and my joy in life became working with children. Now including one of my own. My role at Logiscool is to make sure that the courses at the branch and online work as they should. To make sure that children, parents andtrainers have the information, support and functional technology they need. If necessary, I am available to arrange make-up lessons, changes to courses and anything else
