Do you also provide services for public schools?
We have several types of services for public schools in our vicinity, from free presentations and demo lessons to attractive programs for the Otherwise School. You can also find details about these programs here https://www.logiscool.com/ro/schoolservices.
Are other prior knowledge or courses required before the first Logiscool course?
Anyone can learn to program and it's really worth a try. No other prerequisite courses or knowledge of mathematics or ICT are required.
We also have courses for advanced students, who can join the respective level groups after completing a knowledge assessment test. Details from the school coordinator.
How long is the course? Do you offer a certification?
Our curriculum is designed in modules and over several years of study, depending on the age at which the student starts and the level of knowledge he wants to reach. With each completed lesson and each module, the complexity of the tasks increases and thus, they discover and apply new and new programming concepts.
The possible paths are presented in the Curriculum section of our website and in the demonstration lessons. There are certification degrees upon completion of each level of study.
Is there also the option of individual courses or online courses?
Yes, in our school we offer both individual classes, 1 to 1 or groups of 2-3 students, as well as the option of online groups or occasional online participation when the child cannot make it to class. For such records it is necessary to contact us.
What happens during the holidays?
During vacations or public holidays we do not hold Logiscool courses, but we organize short programs like Logicamps or Workshops, you can find the details and registration options in the dedicated pages.
Are registrations still accepted after the course start date?
Depending on the type of course, registrations can be made up to 1 month after the start and on the condition that some recovery is completed. For Digital Discovery courses, registrations can also be made during the first two months of the course.
If a student misses a lesson, how can we make up for the missed lesson?
If a student is absent from a lesson for any reason, we always provide solutions for them to make up for that session. We offer one-on-one or group recovery sessions, which usually take place before the next course lesson. The recovery is determined by mutual agreement between the parent and the school coordinator and is free, within the limit of 3 sessions per semester.
Can siblings attend classes in the same group?
Yes, but only if the age difference between them is less than two years. And this is because the older sibling may be bored in an age group younger than his/her age or the younger one may find it too difficult in an older age group where the pace is faster.
